ICE Issues Stark Warning After Video Shows Disabled Woman Dragged From Car
ICE Warning After Woman Dragged From Car in Minneapolis

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has issued a defiant warning following the release of a disturbing video showing its officers dragging a disabled woman from her car. The incident, which occurred in Minneapolis, comes just days after the fatal shooting of mother-of-three Renee Good by an immigration officer.

Shocking Arrest Caught on Camera

The video, which has sparked widespread outrage, shows a masked ICE agent smashing the passenger window of a car. Officers then force the driver's door open. The unidentified woman inside is heard screaming and can be seen clinging to her door before she is forcibly pulled from the vehicle.

In a harrowing moment, the woman cries out, "I'm disabled, I'm trying to go to the doctor up there." Despite her pleas to surrounding protesters, the agents, whose faces were concealed, throw her to the ground. The confrontation unfolded on 14 January 2026 amid one of the many anti-ICE protests that have erupted since Good's death.

Official Warning and Escalating Tensions

In the wake of the video's circulation, ICE official Marcos Charles spoke to FOX News, delivering an uncompromising message. "We will be arresting anybody that interferes or impedes in any of these enforcement actions," he stated.

Charles also provided figures on the crackdown, boasting, "We've already arrested 60… that have got in our way, impeded us or assaulted an officer." The US government has deployed approximately 2,000 ICE agents to the Minneapolis area following the shooting of Renee Good.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has warned that "hundreds more" federal agents will be sent to the city. She claimed the deployment was to allow "our ICE and our Border Patrol individuals that are working in Minneapolis to do so safely." The Vice President has also indicated agents will conduct door-to-door operations to find undocumented individuals.

Background: The Killing of Renee Good

The current volatile climate stems directly from the death of Renee Good, who was shot three times in the head by an ICE officer. Good had just dropped one of her children at school prior to the shooting.

The Trump administration and its allies have since sought to justify the killing. Officials labelled Good a "domestic terrorist," while JD Vance controversially called her death a "tragedy of her own making." These statements have further inflamed public anger and galvanised the protest movement where this latest incident occurred.

The woman detained in the car had initially been asked by agents to move her vehicle. After she complained about their manner, saying, "That's not how you ask somebody to move a car," she slowly began to drive forward. Officers then shouted for her to "get back" before the window was smashed, leading to her forcible removal and detention.
