First Day Highlights

The royal couple's schedule includes an initial greeting by President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump at the White House, followed by a private tea and a garden party with guests representing US-UK connections.

Washington D.C. Activities

Further activities in Washington D.C. will feature a state arrival ceremony with military honours, a bilateral meeting between King Charles and President Trump in the Oval Office, an address to both houses of Congress, and a state dinner.

New York Visit

The visit will then move to New York, where the King and Queen will visit the 9/11 memorial, meet first responders, and Queen Camilla will present a specially made 'Roo' toy to the New York Public Library to complete its Winnie-the-Pooh collection.

Virginia and Bermuda

Concluding their US tour, Charles and Camilla will travel to Virginia to attend a community party marking the 250th anniversary of American independence and engage with indigenous communities to discuss climate change projects, before the King continues to Bermuda.
