Brooke Warne's Festival Fashion and Heartfelt Family Reflections
Influencer Brooke Warne made a striking appearance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California over the weekend, captivating onlookers with her bold festival attire. The 28-year-old social media personality showcased her figure in a fitted white playsuit, featuring a corset-style bodice and a short hemline that created a flirty, festival-ready aesthetic. She opted to go braless under the ensemble, adding a daring edge to her summery look.
Effortless Style in the Desert
Brooke paired her white playsuit with knee-high black boots, introducing a bold contrast to the soft, light tones of her outfit. Her long blonde hair was worn loose in soft waves, complemented by oversized sunglasses and layered gold jewellery that completed the effortlessly cool vibe. She posed against a scenic backdrop of palm trees and rolling hills in the Colorado Desert, embracing the laid-back atmosphere of the world-famous annual music festival with friends.
In another snapshot, Brooke leaned back against a balcony railing, tilting her face towards the sky to soak up the sunshine. She captioned her social media gallery with the excited words: 'Coachella Day one INCOMING.'
Emotional Toll of a Sudden Loss
Beyond the festival glamour, Brooke recently opened up about the profound emotional toll she experienced on the night she learned of her father's death. Cricket legend Shane Warne died suddenly from a massive heart attack while on holiday in Thailand in March 2022. Appearing on her brother Jackson's Warnes Way podcast in December, Brooke described how the tragic news came completely out of the blue.
'Not for one minute did I think something had happened to dad,' she revealed in the emotional interview. Brooke was spending time with family, including her partner Alex Heath and her mother Simone Callahan, Shane's ex-wife, when the news broke. It was Jackson who first received a phone call from Shane's manager, Andrew Neophitou, alerting them to the situation.
A Family's Agonising Wait
Brooke recalled that as soon as the family learned the cricket great had experienced a massive heart attack, everyone leapt to their feet. 'We stood up, and I remember I couldn't breathe,' she remembered. 'And when you hear [something like] that... I felt like I had this out-of-body experience. I didn't think what was happening was happening.'
Initially, Brooke told herself that Shane 'would be fine' as the family waited for more news. Jackson had explained that there were two separate phone calls: the first detailing Shane's heart attack, and the second informing them that a resuscitation attempt was underway. The family endured an agonising 90-minute wait before James Erskine, Shane's manager, called again with an update.
'There was not any part of me that thought we were never going to see Dad ever again,' Brooke continued. When Shane's management confirmed his passing, 'We started screaming. I screamed and cried.' The megastar cricketer, who had become a beloved pundit and businessman, was found unconscious in a villa in the resort of Koh Samui, marking a devastating loss for his family and fans worldwide.
