Corrections and Clarifications: Welsh Water and NatureScot Errors
Corrections: Welsh Water and NatureScot Errors

Corrections to Recent Guardian Articles

An article published on 1 July, page 35, titled 'Complex and costly', referred to Welsh Water (Dŵr Cymru) as being under 'public ownership'. In fact, the utility is a private company, but as the article went on to explain, since 2001 it has operated under a not-for-profit model with no shareholders.

Another correction concerns an article from 6 July, page 16, 'Landmark AI project has no prospect of meeting renewable energy promise', which misnamed NatureScot as 'Nature Scotland'. The correct name is NatureScot.
