A woman who says she is "no longer running to the bathroom" has praised a 79p-a-day bladder supplement that she claims "changed my life". The Jude CoreCTRL Bladder Health Supplement, which appeared on BBC's Dragons' Den, is currently reduced from £118.50 to £79.90 for a three-month supply, with an extra 20 per cent off available using the code CHANGE20, bringing the price down to £63.92.
What the supplement contains
The supplement is formulated to strengthen the muscles responsible for bladder control, which can be compromised by pregnancy, childbirth and pelvic floor weakness, even among younger women. It includes pumpkin seed extract and soy germ extract, two plant-based ingredients commonly used to support normal bladder function.
Jude recommends a 12-week programme and says 83 per cent of women notice improvements during this period. The 12-week starter programme also comes with a booster pack containing 15 extra capsules, five PelviTONE sachets and a refillable tub.
Shopper reviews
Shoppers who have tried the supplement have shared their reviews, with many women under 45 giving it five stars. Sue said: "This product has opened up my life. I'm so glad I found it and wouldn't be without it."
Faye commented: "I'm in my late thirties and was struggling with bladder urgency following some UTI's. I was wearing pads just in case and my life was becoming increasingly affected as I constantly worried about being near a toilet. I came across Jude on Facebook and, after seeing a few ads and reading the fab reviews, I decided to give it a try."
She added: "I am so, so glad I did. I am now pad free and worrying about toilets is no longer top of mind. It took a few months for the tablets to reach maximum effect so do persevere. I would not be without them and my mental health is vastly improved."
Diandra posted: "I'm 28 years old and for the majority of my life I've always been known as a person with the weakest bladder. I saw results after a week and now I've passed the 28 day mark I feel so much more confident within my bladder."
Leonie penned: "I feel like I have control over my bladder for the first time in years, these supplements alongside regular exercise has had a massive impact on my pelvic floor strength."
However, Jackie wrote: "I originally signed up for 'urgency' issues, this has settled by around 75%. I also still have to visit the bathroom at least once during the night."
Louise added: "Omg these tiny, magical, orange pills have changed my life. I'm no longer running to the bathroom when I get home or peeing 4x per hour."
Night-time support and other options
Jude has also developed SleepTHRU, a supplement designed to reduce interrupted sleep caused by repeated bathroom trips. According to the brand, it nourishes the biological systems the bladder relies on at night.
