Martha Stewart's Youthful Look: Surgeon Reveals Her Secrets at 84
Martha Stewart's Anti-Ageing Secrets Revealed

Homemaking icon Martha Stewart, at 84, continues to captivate the public with a remarkably youthful and radiant complexion that consistently defies her age. Her appearance has sparked such widespread discussion that a leading plastic surgeon has now offered an expert analysis of the star's potential beauty regimen, following Stewart's own denials of undergoing any surgical procedures.

The Expert's Verdict on Stewart's Visage

According to Minnesota-based plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Harrington, who has not treated the star personally, Martha Stewart appears to be telling the truth about avoiding the knife. "Martha Stewart is timeless and oh-so classy. Her look is not only youthful, but healthy and energized!" Dr. Harrington told Daily Mail in an exclusive commentary. "I must stress that I have not treated her personally, but I think she has had some cosmetic enhancements to achieve this lovely appearance."

Dr. Harrington, who owns the practice Harrington + Associates, speculates that Stewart's regimen likely includes neuromodulators like Botox, which the star has previously admitted to using, alongside advanced laser treatments. "Her skin looks amazing in both texture and tone. Perhaps some neuromodulators are used to smooth our wrinkles, and a broadband light laser treatment (BBL) to even out the skin tones," the surgeon suggested.

When it comes to the notable fullness in her cheeks, Dr. Harrington pointed to two likely possibilities. "The fullness in her cheeks could be dermal fillers, but fat transfer is gaining popularity, and this could be what we see here," she explained, referring to the procedure of moving fat from one area of the body to another for volume.

Martha's Own Confessions and Daily Regimen

Stewart has been remarkably transparent about her approach to maintaining her looks. During a February 2024 episode of The Martha Stewart Podcast on iHeart, she interviewed her personal dermatologist, Dr. Dan Belkin, breaking down the treatments she has undergone.

Dr. Belkin confirmed he had injected Botox into Martha's face, though she expressed a distinct preference for its application. "Oh, I don't like that at all. My eyebrows kind of go up in a V and that looks so unnatural because I don't have lines in my forehead," Martha stated. However, Dr. Belkin countered, "I've tried to give you a little lift. It hasn't really worked that well on the upper face, but I think neuromodulators like Botox have worked really well for you on the lower face."

The dermatologist also revealed he has used biostimulatory filler on the 84-year-old, a product like Sculptra that encourages the skin to produce its own collagen. Furthermore, they confirmed Stewart has undergone skin-tightening procedures utilising ultrasound technology.

The Lifestyle Foundations of Her Glow

Beyond injectables and high-tech treatments, Stewart attributes her vitality to a disciplined and healthy lifestyle. Her day begins at 5 a.m. with a large glass of water, followed by a meticulously crafted green juice made from produce grown in her own garden.

"One of my favorite combinations is spinach, cucumber, parsley, chervil, fresh ginger, and orange peel," she has shared in her magazine, Martha Stewart. This is complemented by daily exercise and a steadfast skincare routine that always includes moisturiser for her face and body, as well as an exfoliant or silicone soap.

Perhaps one of the most crucial elements in her anti-ageing arsenal is sleep. Stewart is a firm believer in getting seven to eight uninterrupted hours nightly. "Just as with other body organs, the skin repairs itself during sleep. And lack of sleep will show up immediately on your face, with dark circles, bags under your eyes, and dull skin," she advised.

This combination of modern cosmetic procedures and timeless wellness habits has clearly paid dividends. Her appearance has not only generated immense buzz online, earning her the title 'Queen of Thirst Traps' for her popular Instagram posts, but it also landed her a historic spot as the oldest woman ever on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue in 2023.
