A Sainsbury's store in Liverpool city centre has issued an "important safety warning" to customers over recalled Doritos Chilli Heatwave crisps. The Old Hall Street branch displayed a notice informing shoppers not to eat the affected product.
Packs of Doritos Chilli Heatwave crisps have been recalled due to safety concerns. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) and Chartered Trading Standards Institute publicise recalled products for various reasons, such as when items contain undisclosed allergens or when a defect is found.
Recall Details
Certain packs of Doritos Chilli Heatwave crisps have been recalled by PepsiCo because some packs contain milk which is not mentioned on the label. Some packs may have been packed with the wrong product which contains milk, meaning certain customers have been warned "do not eat".
The recall applies to 140g and 180g bags with specific batch codes and best before dates:

- Doritos Chilli Heatwave, Pack size: 180 g, Batch code: GBC 209 184C, Best before date: 05 December 2026
Customer Advice
Advice to customers states that if you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
