NAYDAYA's award-winning Vagina Victory Oil, a fragrance- and hormone-free intimate moisturising oil, has sold out five times since arriving on Boots shelves, with over 100,000 bottles sold. The product, endorsed by consultant gynaecologists, addresses a common but stigmatised issue: intimate dryness, which affects 83% of women according to a NAYDAYA survey of 2,000 women.
Stigma and silence around intimate health
The survey revealed that embarrassment prevents many women from discussing intimate dryness with friends, family, or even their GP. Consultant gynaecologist Dr Pavan Mihas commented: 'Women can go through intimate dryness at various stages in their lives. Because there's so much taboo around these topics, it's inhibiting women from seeking help, and it has a massive impact on both physical health and psychological wellbeing.'
NAYDAYA's range includes the Victory Oil and Victory Cleanse Wash, both formulated to soothe, cleanse, and moisturise intimate skin. Dr Anne Henderson, Consultant Gynaecologist and BMS Advanced Specialist, said: 'I recommend Victory Oil and Victory Cleanse to all my patients who are experiencing hormonal dryness at any stage of life, but especially during menopause, as the ingredients are safe, highly nourishing and emollient even for the most sensitive skin.'
Product details and customer reviews
The Victory Oil, usually £28, is currently available for £22.40 with discount code COMFORT20. It contains hydrating ingredients such as mango butter and vitamin E. The Victory Cleanse Wash (£22.40, reduced from £28) is a pH-safe cleanser with castor seed oil, grapeseed oil, and vitamin E. The Victory Comfort Set bundles both products for £40.80, down from £56.
Customer reviews have been overwhelmingly positive. One buyer said: 'Miracle products. I can't live without these two life-changing products that are on repeat - I only wish I'd found them sooner.' Another added: 'Transformative products. What I can't get over is the reduction in odour throughout the day, thanks to the intimate oil and maybe the wash too.' A third reviewer noted: 'After years of suffering, my itch is no more! I cannot believe how quickly these bottles of miracle oil worked; within hours, I felt a difference.'
Alternatives and market context
Other brands also offer intimate care products. Luna Daily's Everywhere Wash Fragrance Free (£14, Sephora) includes vitamins C, E and F. Dr Barbara Sturm's V Wash (£44, reduced from £55) gently cleanses while preserving natural oils. However, NAYDAYA's strong gynaecologist endorsement and customer loyalty set it apart.
Despite the success, one three-star review noted: 'The bottle is too small. Also, the Victory Oil should come in larger quantities, please.' Nonetheless, the product continues to sell out, reflecting high demand for solutions to intimate dryness.
