Celebrity Race Across the World 2026 cast announced

Celebrity Race Across the World is returning to screens in 2026, and the star-studded cast has been revealed. Four new celebrity pairings will leave behind their phones, credit cards, and comforts to race across the globe.

The teams will start in Borneo, Southeast Asia, and travel 7,500km to the final destination in Melbourne, Australia. Along the way, they must reach five checkpoints across three countries and two continents.

Junior and Princess Andre

The children of Katie Price and Peter Andre will compete together. Junior is building his music career, having signed a record deal in 2021 and released several singles that performed strongly in the charts. He has also begun acting, appearing alongside his father and Michelle Ryan in the drama Finding My Voice, released earlier this year.

Princess has a large online following and hosts her own ITV2 reality show, The Princess Diaries, in which Junior frequently features.

Sam Ryder and Kaz

Eurovision star Sam Ryder, known for his 2022 performance of “Space Man”, will take on the challenge with his best friend and manager Kaz. Ryder gained fame through TikTok vocal covers during the pandemic in 2020, catching the attention of artists like Justin Bieber and Alicia Keys. He has been nominated for BRIT Awards, MTV Music Awards, and a Primetime Emmy. He has also starred as Jesus in the West End production of Jesus Christ Superstar.

Ella Eyre and Nana

Singer Ella Eyre, 32, will join her childhood friend Nana. Eyre rose to fame after featuring on Rudimental’s 2013 hit “Waiting All Night” and has since released tracks like “Gravity”, “Came Here for Love”, and “Just Got Paid”. She has been nominated for BBC Sound of 2014 and the BRIT Critics’ Choice Award.

Jeff Stelling and Matt

Sports broadcaster Jeff Stelling will race with his son Matt. Stelling presented Sky Sports’ Gillette Soccer Saturday for 29 years from 1994, and has also hosted Channel 4’s Countdown (2009–2011) and ITV’s Alphabetical. He now features on talkSPORT.

Teams will rely on their resourcefulness, local transport, and the kindness of strangers, equipped with only a map and a budget of £26 per person per day.

Tim Harcourt, chief creative officer of production company Studio Lambert, said: “This year’s pairs navigate a journey that lays bare two extremes of today’s world. We can’t wait to share how they get on. Contestants give unfiltered and honest reactions to the experiences they face that are as demanding as they are joyful. That’s so rare on television and it’s clear audiences love seeing their favourite stars deal with these daring challenges in spectacular worlds.”

The series will air this autumn, with Race Across The World returning to BBC One and iPlayer next spring.
