Lisa Hogan shares update after Jeremy Clarkson's prostate cancer diagnosis
Lisa Hogan speaks out after Clarkson's cancer news

Jeremy Clarkson's partner Lisa Hogan has spoken out after the television presenter revealed his prostate cancer diagnosis. The broadcaster, 66, was shown breaking the news to his nearest and dearest during the most recent instalment of his programme Clarkson's Farm, and it emerged that he had undergone surgery to remove 10% of his prostate last summer.

Now, Lisa, 52, who has been romantically involved with Jeremy since 2017, has expressed gratitude to supporters following the distressing revelation. She posted: "Back at the farm," accompanied by a photograph of Jeremy relaxing in the sunshine. She subsequently reshared a message from Prostate Cancer UK regarding the Top Gear presenter's condition, adding: "Thank you for all the support today. @prostatecanceruk".

In the most recent instalment of Jeremy's popular Amazon programme, currently in its fifth series, he was discussing the harvest with farm manager Charlie Ireland and farmhand Kaleb Cooper when he unexpectedly disclosed his health situation. He informed the duo: "I've got cancer. I've known since May". "I had a medical, you remember back in May. I disappeared off the other week and I had a biopsy and it is cancer and it's aggressive, but it's really early so the treatment will be, you know."

Speaking from a hospital bed at the conclusion of the series finale, Clarkson disclosed he had encountered difficulties during treatment. "We started season five with me in a hospital bed and here we are at the end of season five and I'm back in a hospital bed," he stated. "What I wanted to say was if this is all successful, I'll see you for season six, and if it isn't, I won't," he said. "Take care, everyone," he said as he signed off.

The moment the news emerged, Prostate Cancer UK turned to social media to express its gratitude to the television personality for bringing much-needed attention to the condition, urging men not to underestimate the importance of catching it early. The post said: "We want to thank @JeremyClarkson1 for sharing his prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment in #ClarksonsFarm, raising vital awareness with the millions of men and families watching. Thankfully he found the disease at an early stage, but sadly this is still not the experience of many men across the UK. Over 10,000 dads, brothers, sons and friends are diagnosed too late for a cure every year, and today the responsibility to know if you're at higher risk and to act on it rest entirely on men's shoulders. This must change. Any men worried by Jeremy's story should take our 30 second online Risk Checker or have a chat with their GP about a quick and simple blood test to check for any signs."
