The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued an urgent recall for several Arla Protein Pudding varieties sold at major supermarkets including Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda and Morrisons, over fears they may contain pieces of glass.
Arla Foods Ltd is withdrawing multiple Arla Protein Pudding flavours from sale after the FSA alerted the public that the products could be unsafe to eat. Three specific products with certain best-before dates have been identified as part of the withdrawal.
Recalled Products and Best-Before Dates
The first product is Arla Protein Pudding in Chocolate flavour, available in 200g packs with best-before dates of January 11, 18 and 20, along with February 6, 2027.
The second is Arla Protein Pudding in Salted Caramel flavour, also in 200g packaging, carrying best-before dates of January 21, 23 and 31, together with February 2, 2027.
Finally, the Arla Protein Pudding in Vanilla Cookie flavour completes the recall list, in the same 200g format with a best-before date of January 25, 2027.
What Customers Should Do
The FSA stated: "These products may contain glass, which makes them unsafe to eat. Arla Foods Ltd is recalling the above products."
"Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling these products. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products."
"If you have bought the above products, do not eat them. Instead, return them to where you bought them from for a full refund. For further information, please contact 01133 827009 or hello@arlafoods.com."
Customers who have purchased any of the affected puddings can return them to the store for a full refund, with no receipt required.
