Emily Clarkson, daughter of television personality Jeremy Clarkson, paid a touching tribute to her father on social media following his recent health update. The 66-year-old star of Clarkson's Farm revealed in the penultimate episode of the Prime Video series that he had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. Filmed in 2025, the announcement drew widespread support from fans and celebrities, who praised his openness about the diagnosis.
Remission and Father's Day Tribute
On June 21, Jeremy Clarkson confirmed to The Sunday Times that he is now officially in remission, stating that doctors caught the cancer early. Hours before UK Father's Day, Emily shared a black-and-white photo on Instagram showing her cuddled up to her father, both holding drinks at a formal event. She captioned the post with a blue heart emoji and tagged @prostatecanceruk and @jeremyclarkson.
In the same post, Emily included a quote from Jeremy urging others to get checked: "This is why I have to say to everybody who's reading this, please, please, go and get checked. It's not uncomfortable, it's not undignified. And it's a no-brainer. I did, and that's why I'm sitting here talking to you."
Early Detection and Treatment
In his column, Jeremy emphasized the importance of routine check-ups, which led to early diagnosis and treatment. He described himself as "without a doubt, officially, the world’s luckiest man" and noted that a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test two months ago showed no indication of cancer. He explained: "It was an aggressive type of cancer. It could have spread, it could have gone into the pancreas, it could have gone anywhere, and that would have been trouble."
Public Urging to Get Tested
Over the weekend, Jeremy posted two videos on Instagram confirming that season six of Clarkson’s Farm is in production. He said, "The more observant among you will have noticed that I am not dead. I’m not just not dead, I’m perfectly fine. And the reason why I am fine is that the doctors caught the prostate cancer early, and they caught it early because I got tested." He continued to urge others to get tested, assuring fans the procedure is "just a blood test these days."
