Pete Davidson's Girlfriend Elsie Hewitt Reveals 'Absolute Agony' of Pregnancy
Elsie Hewitt's Pregnancy Agony with Pete Davidson's Child

Elsie Hewitt, the girlfriend of comedian Pete Davidson, has bravely opened up about the severe and constant pain she is enduring during her pregnancy with their first child.

A Cry For Help On Social Media

On Friday, the 29-year-old model took to her Instagram Story to share an emotional update with her one million followers. Hewitt described being in 'absolute agony pretty much 24/7', with her pain so intense that she can 'barely walk'. She confessed that the suffering had reached a peak, stating, 'This morning, it's really bad.'

The expectant mother revealed she has exhausted nearly every possible remedy to manage her worsening symptoms. 'I have tried everything,' she stated, listing a range of treatments from acupuncture and stretching to exercise, steroid injections, and energy healing. Despite her efforts, nothing has provided relief from her daily torment, leaving her feeling hopeless.

Underlying Health Conditions Amplify the Struggle

Hewitt believes her unbearable pain is linked to long-standing health issues, namely endometriosis and Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS). hEDS is a connective-tissue disorder that can severely affect joints, skin, and overall mobility. In a heartfelt plea, she asked her followers, 'I would really like to speak to someone who has been through pregnancy and birth with Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Did your pain go away after? Does it get better? Am I gonna die? I just really want to feel a little bit of hope.'

This pregnancy is particularly poignant for Hewitt, who had previously feared infertility due to her endometriosis. Before announcing her pregnancy in July, she had publicly discussed her diagnosis and the surgery she underwent partly to preserve her chances of becoming a mother.

Navigating the Final Stretch with a Famous Partner

As she approaches the final stages of her pregnancy, Hewitt admitted to feeling a building level of nerves as the reality of giving birth sets in. Fortunately, she has the unwavering support of her partner, Pete Davidson. The 32-year-old comedian has been 'really good' about offering pep talks, encouraging her to rest, and taking 'the most amazing care' of her throughout the ups and downs.

However, Davidson has expressed his own guilt about the lack of privacy surrounding their pregnancy. He confessed earlier this year that he 'felt bad' his fame would thrust Hewitt, who is a very private person, into the public eye. He acknowledged that she is 'doing all the work' and deserves to enjoy the experience without added pressure.

The couple went Instagram official in March and made their red-carpet debut in May. They announced their pregnancy in July with a sonogram photo and a cheeky caption, marking the start of this challenging yet hopeful new chapter.
