Mount Sinai Hospital in New York has issued a desperate plea for help after an unidentified woman was admitted in critical condition. The patient, believed to be in her 40s, was found unconscious in Manhattan with no identification.
Hospital staff have named the woman "Mount Sinai Doe" as they attempt to solve the medical mystery. "We're deeply concerned for this patient and want to reunite her with loved ones," said a hospital spokesperson.
Distinctive Features Could Help Identification
The woman has several distinguishing characteristics that might help recognition:
- Approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall
- Medium build with brown eyes
- Distinctive tattoos on her left arm
Authorities have released photographs of the patient's tattoos in hopes someone might recognise the artwork.

New York Police Department is working closely with hospital staff on the case. "Even the smallest piece of information could be crucial," an NYPD representative stated.
