Paddy, a one-year-old domestic shorthair, is searching for a new home after arriving at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, but so far no one has come forward to adopt him.
The cat has undergone surgery which left him missing part of one ear, meaning he looks a little different to the other cats at the centre. Despite this, staff say he continues to be a happy, playful and affectionate cat.
A playful and affectionate companion
As a young feline, Paddy has plenty of energy and loves playtime, bringing fun and character wherever he goes. He is also incredibly affectionate and enjoys spending time with people, making him the kind of cat who could quickly become the centre of his new family's world.
Beneath his playful personality is a softer side, as Paddy also enjoys curling up on a warm lap for a snooze.

Another animal in need at Battersea
Paddy is not the only animal searching for a home at Battersea. A puppy has been struggling to secure a loving owner after being diagnosed with central blindness.
Three-month-old Pebbles, a Jack Russell Terrier, is currently in the care of Battersea and is hoping to find a calm and patient home where she can slowly grow in confidence. She is described as friendly and sociable, and has already formed bonds with some of the people caring for her, recognising their voices and responding to a gentle tap on the floor. Rather than using her eyes to explore, Pebbles experiences the world through sound, scent and touch.
