Hannah Bourne-Taylor's Husband: Olympian and Soldier

Hannah Bourne-Taylor, the bird conservationist who captivated viewers in the final two episodes of Clarkson's Farm Season 5, has a fascinating personal life. She is married to Robin Bourne-Taylor, a former British Army officer and Olympic rower. The couple tied the knot in 2015.

Who is Robin Bourne-Taylor?

Robin Bourne-Taylor served in the British Army from 2003 to 2011, including a deployment in Afghanistan where he earned the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross. He left active duty in 2010 and transferred to the Regular Army Reserve of Officers in early 2011.

In the sporting world, Robin competed as a rower in the 2004 Athens Olympics and the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He also won bronze medals at the World Championships in Milan (2003) and Munich (2007).

Career After the Military

Today, Robin works as a professional speaker, drawing on his experiences on the front line and at the Olympics. His career took the couple around the world, including a move to Ghana, where Hannah wrote her book Fledgling (2022).

Hannah's Journey

Hannah, a former photographer and copywriter in London, faced visa restrictions in Ghana that left her isolated. In September 2018, she rescued a baby bird whose nest was destroyed, giving her a new purpose. She later reintroduced the bird to the wild in Ghana.

The couple returned to Oxfordshire in 2021, where Hannah now focuses on conservation work. Her appearance on Clarkson's Farm saw her impress Jeremy Clarkson by identifying bird calls faster than his app.

Clarkson's Farm Season 5 is streaming on Prime Video now.
