Dogs Trust West Calder Seeks Home for Bonded Greyhound Duo 'The Pasta Girls'
Dogs Trust Seeks Home for Bonded Greyhound Duo

Dogs Trust West Calder is searching for a forever home for a devoted doggie duo, Linguine and Lasagne Longlegs, otherwise known as 'The Pasta Girls', who have spent their entire lives together.

The bonded pair of ex-racing Greyhounds, both turning 10 next month, are ready to bring double the love, joy, and tail wags to their forever family.

Just as Italians consider al dente the perfect way to cook pasta, Linguine and Lasagne's many friends at Dogs Trust West Calder believe they are perfect pooches in every way, with soft and affectionate natures.

Perfect Companions

Zoe James, Rehoming Manager at Dogs Trust West Calder, said: 'Linguine and Lasagne Longlegs are two stunning girls who share an exceptionally close bond.'

'They complement each other in character, and as they have always had each other for every moment of their life, we are keen to find them a forever home where they can remain together.'

'Linguine is the more playful of the pair and loves entertaining herself with toys, often tossing them into the air with glee.'

'She enjoys spending time with people, relaxing in the garden, and taking gentle walks. Lasagne is a more laid-back girl who is happiest receiving fuss from her human friends and stretching out in a sunny spot for a snooze.'

'While she enjoys playing in the garden, Lasagne is generally content to relax while Linguine keeps herself busy. Both girls are affectionate, walk beautifully on lead and enjoy their daily outings.'

'Their gentle natures, strong friendship and loving natures make them a wonderful pair, and we can't wait for them to find their forever family who has room for two.'

Ideal Home

The Pasta Girls are looking for calm, patient, and loving adopters. They could live with secondary school-age children and would thrive in a home where someone is around for most of the day, with time left alone being introduced gradually.

As ex-racing Greyhounds, they need to wear a lead and a muzzle when out enjoying walks. Greyhounds generally have an athletic and streamlined build with a long head and neck. Their coat is short and fine.

They love company, so they can make ideal canine companions. You can find out more about the breed at the Dogs Trust website.

Dogs Trust currently has hundreds of dogs in its care, ready to meet someone like you. Dogs Trust West Calder is open to the public five days a week, and you don't need an appointment to visit, see dogs looking for homes, get advice or apply to adopt.
