A Medieval Masterpiece

Founded in 1381, the Coventry Charterhouse is a Grade I listed medieval monastic house. It boasts some of the finest examples of medieval and Renaissance art in England. The site features interactive displays and an activity room, making history come alive for visitors.

Rich History and Royal Connections

The Charterhouse has a fascinating past, having hosted Queen Elizabeth I, Robert Dudley, and John Whittingham. It also served as a garden producing exotic fruits for wealthy locals. Today, the 1.7-acre walled garden is a peaceful retreat.
