A three-month-old Jack Russell Terrier named Pebbles, who was born with central blindness, is looking for a forever home in the UK. Despite her condition, she is described as a happy, affectionate puppy full of love and energy.
Pebbles' condition and personality
Pebbles is currently in the care of Battersea, where staff hope she will find a calm and patient home. She cannot rely on her eyesight, but she has not let that stop her from being friendly and sociable. She has already formed bonds with some of her carers, recognising their voices and responding to a gentle tap on the floor.
Rather than using her eyes to explore, Pebbles experiences the world through sound, scent, and touch. This means unfamiliar surroundings can feel daunting, and she may need extra time to feel at ease in a new environment.

Battersea is seeking an owner who can provide a quiet home with a predictable routine and plenty of patience. Pebbles will also need a secure private garden where she can safely explore and gradually build confidence.
