Visitor Reviews
Bridgemere Garden Centre is frequently featured in local travel guides and is considered one of the top attractions in the area. A TripAdvisor reviewer shared: “Had a lovely afternoon walking around Bridgemere, the plants are lovely and such variety. Called in the cafe, staff very friendly and helpful, food was nice, and service was quick. Also super dog friendly.” Another visitor remarked: “Something I’d thought I’d never say about a garden centre is being surprised and really impressed. But I have to say it about Bridgemere. This place is huge. They even have show gardens to look at. It’s very doubtful that you would come here for something for the garden and leave empty-handed. We popped in just for a look whilst in the area and ended up leaving with a car full of shopping!” A third reviewer wrote: “We decided to go here for my wife's birthday treat. We both like browsing around garden centres in our area, and in our view, this is one of the best. The restaurant is really good, and the food offered was tip top; plus the staff were very helpful and friendly too.”
Christmas Events
During the festive season, the centre hosts special events, including visits from Santa. One review noted: “We visit Bridgemere regularly, but this visit was to go and see Santa. He was great, spent lots of time talking to our 7-year-old. Elves were really entertaining too. The booking system worked perfectly as not a long wait at all. Afterwards, we had a drink and cake in the cafe by the newly refurbished play centre. Drinks were lovely, and the cakes were very fresh.”
