The Southport Flower Show returns from Thursday, August 20 until Sunday, August 23, 2026, with thousands expected to visit the seaside town. The annual event, which reached its 100th anniversary in 2024, attracts more than 50,000 visitors across its four days at Victoria Park.
Line-up and Attractions
Visitors can expect a packed line-up featuring special guests, Q&A sessions, live demonstrations, and more. Horticultural highlights include spectacular award-winning show gardens, grand floral marquee, amateur grower exhibits, floral art displays, plant society exhibitors, raised bed displays, and displays from local schools and charities.
Last year's spotlight on family attractions and conservation was such a hit that it's back with even more additions. These include alpacas, children's trail, doodle wall, beehive and honey marquee, scarecrow maze, forest school, potting shed, children's yoga, and tennis skills.
New Features and Celebrity Guests
The Lakeside Reset is a wellbeing and mindfulness zone, new for this year. This year's celebrity guests include Rob Rinder, Anton Du Beke, Phil Vickery, and Su Pollard.
The event is the UK's largest independent flower show. Southport's 34-acre Victoria Park is transformed into a horticultural haven. Any profit generated is reinvested into Victoria Park to pay for its maintenance all year round.
Behind the Scenes and Tickets
The Liverpool Echo was given a behind-the-scenes look at the event on August 29 as final preparations were made. Southport residents with PR8 or PR9 post codes can purchase discounted tickets for £20.
