A unique dog-friendly experience
The pool, located in Linnpark Industrial Estate, allows owners to book a private one-hour swim with their dog. The price per session depends on the breed and size of the dog, with categories ranging from £35 for smaller breeds like Pomeranians and Pugs, to £45 for medium breeds like Golden Doodles and Border Collies, and £55 for larger breeds such as German Shepherds and Bernese Mountain Dogs.
Two dogs can swim at once, provided neither is in the third category. Up to four humans can attend per session at no extra cost. The facility also provides life jackets for dogs, though they are not a requirement.
What to expect during a visit
Upon arrival, visitors receive a short safety introduction and are informed of the pool rules. The pool is in a separate room from the daycare area, ensuring privacy and minimal distractions. A small private changing area and a box of toys for dogs are available.
The pool's temperature is usually set to around 30C on cooler days, though it was slightly lowered during the visit due to warm weather. A glass panel at the end of the pool allows owners to watch their dogs swim underwater, which the visitor found to be a highlight.
