Countryfile star Matt Baker has bid an emotional farewell after the conclusion of his Channel 4 series, Our Dream Farm, leaving viewers in tears. The show, which followed young farmers competing for a 15-year lease on a 613-acre hill farm in Snowdonia, ended with Ioan Jones and Sara Jenkins named as winners.
The pair secured the tenancy after finalists Ryan and Lowri from Conwy withdrew from the competition. Before the final episode, Baker expressed his disbelief on Instagram, thanking viewers for their support and praising the young applicants. He shared a video from the farm, highlighting the final challenge: a sheepdog trial.
Fans flooded the comments with emotional reactions. One viewer wrote, 'Oh my days, what a final show. in tears x,' while another said, 'Best possible ending. The right couple definitely got the farm.' Another added, 'I will miss this programme, I've had my favourites from day one.'
