A man in his 70s has died following a farming accident involving a tractor in Tassagh, County Armagh. The incident occurred on Dundrum Road, near Corkley, on Tuesday evening, May 13.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) confirmed that officers attended the scene alongside other emergency services. The death is not being treated as suspicious, and the Health and Safety Executive has been informed.
In a separate incident earlier this week, a man in his 60s died in a work-related farm accident in Tahilla, Sneem, County Kerry. Gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene on Tuesday morning, and it is believed the man may have lain undiscovered overnight.
The Health and Safety Authority has launched an investigation into the Kerry incident, and a post-mortem examination is due to take place. The Coroner for Kerry has been notified.
