Kelvin Fletcher hints at big farm changes after 'end of an era'

Former Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher has hinted at big changes on his Cheshire farm. The star took to social media on Wednesday (July 22) to share a photo of his wife Liz standing in front of the family tractor, captioning it: "End of an era. Bye-bye to this today [crying emoji]. Upgrade pending.."

Tractor departure

Posting a second image showing the tractor being driven out of the barn, he added with humour: "Of course I meant the tractor [cry-laughing emoji]." The lighthearted moment comes after Kelvin got choked up during a recent repeat of Fletcher's Family Farm.

New series confirmed

In June, ITV confirmed that two further series of Fletcher's Family Farm are in the pipeline. Kelvin and Liz, who run the 120-acre Cheshire farm with their four children, have seen the programme grow into a favourite across four series. Reacting to the renewal, the couple said: "We're delighted to be returning for series five and six. What started as a simple desire to share our family's journey has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined."
