Jeremy Clarkson has warned that the harvest at his Diddly Squat Farm has been ruined as the UK braces for another heatwave, sparking concerns over the UK farming crisis.

The former Top Gear host, 66, took to Instagram this weekend with a screenshot from the BBC weather forecast, which displayed Sunday's (August 9) temperature at 29 degrees Celsius in Chipping Norton, where his farm is situated.
Monday is predicted to reach highs of 24 degrees, but Wednesday shows a forecasted temperature of 31 and Thursday of 34 as Britain prepares for another heatwave. Droughts have affected parts of the nation, with Wisley in Surrey experiencing 52 consecutive days without rainfall and Coningsby in Lincolnshire enduring 43.
Dire news for the harvest
It's dire news for the harvest and for Diddly Squat's future, which depends on farming to remain operational. On Instagram, Jeremy posted: "Harvest already f*****. May as well just enjoy it now."
Supporters flocked to back him, with one commenting: "If it carries on you'll need to apply to be a contestant on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire just to get your money back!", reports the Express.
Another person remarked: "A lot of farming around my way, and the struggle is real."

Jeremy was swift to respond to one critic, who observed: "Sir Jezza... you're a multimillionaire. Stay calm and carry on!".
Jeremy replied: "Most farmers aren't. Spare a thought for them eh?" When another individual noted that Jezza still has Hawkstone beer to savour, he responded: "Yes, but it's made from British barley and this year... Jesus."
