Diva, a sweet-natured dog estimated to be around nine years old, was recently taken into the Polk County Bully Project in Florida, United States. It was only when rescue staff untied Diva that they discovered a note pinned to her collar. The message provided a detailed account of her personality and needs, describing her as a "fat but happy" dog with hip issues upon waking. It highlighted her gentle nature, noting she is an amazing family dog that gets along with cats, dogs, children, women, and men, with zero aggression or barking.
The note elaborated on her skills, stating she knows commands like sit, lay down, roll over, and paw, and takes treats gently. It also mentioned a grain allergy requiring a Blue Buffalo grain-free diet and a tendency to choke on bully sticks. At the bottom, the heartbroken owner explained the tragic reason for surrendering Diva: "Dad is homeless and unable to provide stable accommodation that she deserves."
