The tradition has become so deeply embedded in Czech culture that approximately 80-90% of Czech families serve carp during their Christmas celebrations.
"It's not just about fishing—it's about preserving our heritage," explains local fisherman Jakub Šimák, whose family has worked these waters for generations. "Every year, we maintain the same methods our ancestors used five centuries ago."
The Harvest Process
