A cleaning expert on social media has shared a simple tip using washing up liquid to keep kitchen cabinets free of fingerprints and grease. TikToker @neals_k recommends using a bottle of washing up liquid, available for as little as 64p at Asda, along with two microfibre cloths.

How to Clean Kitchen Cabinets

The method involves filling a bowl with warm water and adding a few drops of washing up liquid. Submerge one microfibre cloth, wring it out until damp, and wipe down cabinets from top to bottom using circular motions to remove grease and fingerprints. Then use a second dry microfibre cloth to restore shine.

Neal noted: "I find that this method doesn't give me the dreaded swirl." The technique can also be applied to drawers depending on the finish.
