An Australian mother has praised Aldi's Di-San pre-wash cleaning spray for removing a stubborn coffee stain from her cream carpet in just two minutes. Lea, from Sydney, shared her success on the Mums Who Clean Facebook group, detailing her simple method.
She sprayed the stain fully, left it for 30 seconds, then rubbed with a wet cloth using cold water, and finally soaked up the moisture with paper towel. The product, which costs $1.25 (approximately £1), is available in Aldi stores across Australia and has a lemon fragrance.
Lea advised against rubbing stains in a circular motion, as this can mat the carpet and spread the stain. Instead, she recommended dabbing with a white cloth and using plenty of clean water. The Di-San spray has also been used to clean floors, kitchen filters, showers, and white sneakers.
