A TikTok account called The Wee Scotty Cleaners shared the trick. The user demonstrated placing two denture cleaning tablets into the toilet bowl. The tablets fizz and turn the water blue, lifting stains without harsh chemicals.
She explained: "If you just pop two of these in, they fizz up, and they make your water all blue. They'll lift the stains off the bottom of your toilet without those harsh chemicals like bleach."
The method is described as "dirt cheap" because tablets can cost as little as 87p. Although the ones she used were slightly more expensive, affordable alternatives are available at supermarkets.
