The Newyearfield, a Wetherspoon pub in Livingston Designer Outlet, will host a 10-day beer festival from Friday, July 10, to Sunday, July 19, inclusive. The event will feature a range of 12 real ales, all brewed in Scotland, with prices set at £2.30 a pint.
Festival Highlights
Among the festival collection are three vegan beers, also suitable for vegetarians. The ales incorporate a variety of hop varieties from around the world, as well as ingredients like honey and blueberry. The full lineup includes Cairngorm Lairig Brew, Loch Lomond Sail Away, Mor Blue Gold, Swannay Dark Munroe, Harviestoun Ochil Vienna, Orkney Boulder Beach, Fyne Ales Heather Brae, Stewart Beekeeper’s Gold, Williams March of the Penguins, Fierce Oak-Aged Amber, Broughton Old Jock Champion Double Ale, and Skye Blonde.

Pub manager Nicola Loftus said: “The festival is a great celebration of real ale. It will allow us to showcase a selection of superb beers, all brewed in Scotland, featuring many beers not previously available to our customers in the pub.”
Tasting Options and Ordering
Customers can also purchase three third-of-a-pint tasters for the price of a pint. Tasting notes on all beers will be available in the pub, with a digital version accessible via the Wetherspoon app and website. All ales can be ordered at the bar or through the Wetherspoon app.
