It didn't take long for things to turn royal following reports of Prince Harry's alleged response to Uganda's withdrawal from the Invictus Games. On Wednesday (September 9), Uganda announced its withdrawal from the Invictus Games, stating that it will not participate in any event without King Charles's approval.
Uganda's Withdrawal Statement
General Muhoozi Kainerugaba wrote on X that “Uganda hereby withdraws from the Invictus Games” because he did not want the country's participation to be “construed as being opposed to His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom, whom we deeply revere”.
The news comes just days after King Charles' explosive royal letter clarifying their royal status as non-working royals, allowing them to live as "private citizens".
