India's unprecedented youth-led 'cockroach' protest movement entered its fourth day, with thousands still thronging the streets of Delhi. Many travelled hundreds of miles to join the demonstrations, which show no sign of abating.
Demands for accountability
The Cockroach Janta party has focused on accountability for the devastating recent leaks of exam papers and called for the resignation of the education minister, Dharmendra Pradhan. However, the overriding feeling is that the protests are now bigger than one issue.
A political voice for India's youth
For some, this is the moment that India's youth – totalling more than 600 million – found its political voice. The protests represent an unprecedented expression of dissent against the government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
