Oasis are reportedly planning another round of live shows for summer 2027, including a massive 12-night residency at Manchester's Etihad Stadium and six dates at Knebworth. The news comes just over a year after the band's hugely successful Oasis Live '25 reunion tour launched with an unforgettable opening night at Cardiff's Principality Stadium.
Etihad Stadium Residency
Last week, the Manchester Evening News reported that the band is planning a 12-night stint at the Etihad Stadium, the home of the Gallaghers' beloved Manchester City. Sources believe the tour will be announced within weeks. An insider told The Sun: "Oasis' schedule is booked. It's 12 nights at the Etihad over six weeks starting in June. They will then play Knebworth six times over a three-week period in September. Dates could be added but for now that's the master plan."
Another source added: "It will be 12 nights at the Etihad Stadium across May and June. It's just massive for Manchester and for the local economy. They could even add more dates to that as well, there's talk of up to 20. The wider tour is also going to include a return to Knebworth."
Knebworth Return
The rumoured Knebworth dates would mark a return to the site of the band's seminal 1996 two-night takeover, where 250,000 fans saw them play. The Sun reports that the shows are planned for September 2027, with six performances over a three-week period.
To further stoke speculation, a high-end city centre hotel has allegedly been completely reserved from late May through June to accommodate the band and their extensive touring party. Additionally, Manchester's Parklife festival has moved its 2027 dates from June to July 10-11, sparking intense speculation among fans that the shift was deliberately clearing June for a major run of Oasis concerts. However, the Manchester Evening News understands that Heaton Park is not under consideration as a venue for any new Oasis tour.
Liam Gallagher Responds
After the Etihad rumours broke, fans asked Liam Gallagher directly on X about the 12-night stint. The Oasis star responded: "12 I thought it was 10 ffs."
As of yet, no further dates or stadiums around the country have been confirmed. Oasis played their first gig in more than 16 years in Cardiff on July 4, 2025, opening the Oasis Live '25 reunion tour. The tour was a huge success, taking in 41 dates across the globe and seeing Liam and Noel Gallagher reunite after their years-long sibling feud.
