Why Big Brother isn't on tonight and when it returns

Big Brother will not air tonight (Saturday, October 10) as part of its usual scheduling. The hit reality series airs every Sunday to Thursday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX, with the live eviction airing on a Friday.

Instead, ITV2 will air Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two at 9pm. Viewers will not have long to wait for their Big Brother fix, as the show returns to screens tomorrow (October 11) at 9pm, following the aftermath of Friday's explosive eviction episode.

Friday's live eviction

Hosts Will Best and AJ Odudu fronted the fourth live eviction of the series last night (October 9), with Pauline dealt a devastating blow and forced to say her goodbyes. It came after a brutal round of face-to-face nominations, with the housemates nominating Pauline and Rob to face the public vote.

For Pauline, it was her third time facing the public vote after finding herself at the centre of more controversy earlier in the week. She and Rochelle butted heads in a heated row, with other housemates forced to intervene. After things turned sour, Big Brother intervened and separated Pauline from the rest of the group, meaning she slept in the Snug before being issued a formal warning.

What's next in the house

As tensions continue to rise in the iconic house, more drama and chaos are set to come as the housemates are plunged into another theme. They are also living on an economy shopping budget for the first time this series, after failing last week's shopping task.

A new week also brings in a brand new theme set to cause yet even more drama, following hot on the heels from last week's House of Revelations. In the meantime, previous episodes of Big Brother can be streamed on ITVX.

Big Brother continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
