Strictly fans rally behind Tabby after bottom finish

Olympian Tabitha 'Tabby' Stoecker could face the dance-off this weekend after her Quickstep with professional partner Mark Karmalita earned a score of 25 from the Strictly Come Dancing judges, placing her joint bottom of the leaderboard alongside Graeme Hall.

With a triple dance-off approaching and Tabby's slide down the rankings, some supporters fear she may be among those fighting for their place on the BBC programme's results show on Sunday evening (November 1).

Fans call for votes to save Tabby

One viewer remarked: "The way my top three are all in danger tonight (Tabby, Bethany, Jaime)". Another posted: "Tabby and Mark being at the bottom of the leaderboard doesn't sit right with me; this will be me voting!!!!!"

A further comment read: "All my votes are going to Tabby. We can't lose her #Strictly." Another supporter added: "Pleaseee everyone we should save Tabby and Mark #Strictly".

One viewer wrote: "Tabby is getting all of my votes as it stands - her placement on the leaderboard has me full of rage. #Strictly"

Judges' scores and response

Before receiving her marks, Tabby spoke to Johannes Radebe, who had voiced concerns shortly after her performance, asking: "I just wanted to know if you're ok? Constructive feedback from the judges."

She responded: "I'm so used to that. I'm an athlete; that's what I live for. After having such a high last week, I wanted to challenge myself; I didn't want to do an easy routine. I wanted to do something that was difficult, and you can see that it was difficult."

She added: "That's the whole point of the show. I want to grow, I want to learn, I want to get better. I can't do that without taking on different challenges."

Craig Revel Horwood awarded a six, Motsi Mabuse a seven, Shirley Ballas a five, and Anton Du Beke a seven, giving Tabby a combined total of 25. This marks a significant drop from last week, when she received the first double 10 of the series from Anton and Motsi for her couple's choice performance.

Viewers will have to wait until Sunday night to see whether Tabby has avoided the dance-off. Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturdays on BBC One at 6:30pm.
