Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash are returning to BBC One next week with the third series of their fly-on-the-wall reality show, Stacey & Joe, and the new trailer shows an emotional Stacey as Joe declares "everything's changed."
The couple, who met in 2010 on the set of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! following Stacey's victory in the series, began dating in 2016. Joe proposed during a woodland stroll on Christmas Eve in 2020. Together, they share a blended family of six children, including their three youngest, Rex, Rose, and Belle, as well as Stacey's two sons, Zachary and Leighton, and Joe's son Harry from earlier relationships.
New series documents family changes
The latest series will show Joe finally pursuing his ambition of establishing his own fishing lake and glamping venue, while the family says goodbye to Pickle Cottage after half a decade. In the trailer, Joe sits beside Stacey on a sofa and declares: "Everything's changed!" before providing an update on his lake project.
In a separate moment, Stacey appears emotional as she tells the camera: "We are happy, we're good, we are just getting through it." The remark followed what seemed to be a response to rumours surrounding the couple's relationship, which prompted Stacey to step away from social media earlier this year.
Privacy and a new family home
Stacey later tells the camera: "I've been to places I'd never expect to see photographers," before appearing in a tense exchange with paparazzi, stating: "If I'm going somewhere personal, I have a reasonable expectation of privacy." After Stacey is spotted out, Joe jokingly remarks, "Please tell me you had your wedding ring on," with Stacey smiling and replying, "Yeah, I did."
While relaxing on the sofa, Joe asks Stacey, "You don't want to move, do you?" as she confirms their plans for a new family residence, saying, "I'd like to go and see it." The footage then shows the younger children playing as Joe announces, "Shall we go and make some memories in the new house?" Stacey adds, "Bye Pickle Cottage," as the family relocates from their Tudor-style mansion in Essex to a new property.
