EastEnders' Rob Kazinsky teases Sean Slater secret

EastEnders actor Rob Kazinsky has confirmed that Sean Slater's return to Walford is tied to a major upcoming storyline, revealing that events in Brazil will be explored in future episodes.

Sean recently returned to the BBC soap as part of the plot to track down Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) and save her from predator Craig Ingram (Matthew James Bailey). Sean was once married to Amy's mum, Roxy Mitchell, and was devastated when he learned that Roxy had cheated on him with Jack Branning (Scott Maslen). This history has made him fiercely protective of Amy, and he has gone out of his way to help her.

Brazil Secret Teased

Despite having lived in Brazil for the past few years, Sean dropped everything to come to Amy's aid after being summoned by Jack last week. However, Kazinsky told This Morning hosts Ben Shepherd and Cat Deeley that this is not the only reason for Sean's return.

'A lot happened in Brazil that we're going to find out about in the future, and the reason why he's back in Walford at all,' the actor said.

Powerful Storyline Ahead

According to Kazinsky, this will lead to a significant storyline for Sean. He described it as 'a really important and powerful storyline that's going to help a lot of people.'

'I think it's a really unique and special thing that hasn't been explored properly before, that hasn't been shown on screen to the degree we're going to do it,' he added. 'And I think that storyline coming over the next period of time is something that I'm going to, and EastEnders hopefully will, as with all of its storylines on current issues, we're going to nail and really help a lot of people with in the future.'

Sean's Plan to Save Amy

This week on the soap, Sean went to extremes to help Amy. He devised a plan to make her believe that Denise Fox (Diane Parish) had taken a turn for the worse, luring her to the hospital. The plan succeeded, and he came face to face with Craig in the car park, setting up a potential confrontation between the two characters.
