BBC bosses have made a major decision on Stacey Solomon's hit show, Sort Your Life Out, confirming its future with a seventh and eighth season. The popular BBC One series, which launched in 2021, has become a staple for viewers across the UK, drawing in large viewing figures and a younger demographic thanks to Solomon's massive online presence.
Seventh Series Filming Complete, Spring 2027 Release
Filming for the seventh series has already wrapped, and a release date has been earmarked for spring 2027. Producers are so confident in its success that they have already begun work on an eighth season. A source told The Sun: “Stacey doesn’t just get big viewing figures, with her massive online presence she also draws in the very important younger market for the Beeb.”
Spin-off Podcast and Other Projects
The show's popularity has also led to a spin-off podcast, Sort Your Life Out Unpacked, which has proven successful. Meanwhile, Solomon and her husband, former EastEnders star Joe Swash, confirmed a third series of their reality show, Stacey and Joe, in April. In a joint statement, they said: “If you watched the first series, you’ll know we’ve been talking about the lakes for ages… it feels a bit surreal to finally see it coming to life. With the juggle of family life thrown in, we’re learning as we go, so we’ll be just as surprised as everyone else to see how it all unfolds. Joe Swash and Son Harry in Talks for Celebrity Race Across the World
Joe Swash is also reportedly in “advanced talks” to appear in Celebrity Race Across the World with his 19-year-old son Harry, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Emma Sophocleous. A source told The Sun: “Series four hasn’t even aired yet, but already producers are locking in stars for series five. They thought that previous contestants, dad and son Jeff and Freddy Brazier, were great, and that Joe and Harry would build on that. It’s also a real coup for them that Harry would be willing to go on camera - he’s made a conscious decision to keep out of the limelight until now. Hopefully, he and Joe will deliver some really moving scenes on camera.” The fifth series of Celebrity Race Across the World is expected to begin filming in March 2027.
