Andy and Kim Murray are opening the doors of their luxury Scottish hotel for a new three-part observational series on Channel 4, filmed over nearly 12 months.

The series follows the couple and their team of 80 through what is described as the most daring period in the hotel's existence, as construction begins on a substantial new wing featuring two additional restaurants.

A Decade of Transformation at Cromlix

The couple have spent more than a decade developing Cromlix into one of Scotland's most acclaimed retreats. The estate sits near Kinbuck, approximately three miles north of Dunblane in Stirlingshire.

The project represents the largest financial risk Kim and Andy have undertaken since acquiring the property, and one that will challenge every department. The hotel must stay operational and maintain its reputation for world-class hospitality while builders, staff and visitors occupy the grounds simultaneously.

Renovation and Return

When the hotel shuts its doors for five months to allow the most extensive renovation work to proceed, Kim and Andy return to discover whether a year of uncertainty, disruption and effort has achieved the vision they had envisaged.

Kim said: "The last couple of years have been really full of change at Cromlix with a huge building project and a totally new direction for fine dining and wellness, and I was really keen to document that as there were so many personal stories and interesting discoveries along the way."

Behind the Scenes of a Five-Star Business

Emily Shields, Commissioning Editor for Channel 4, said: "Cromlix is a fascinating world to step inside, and this series offers a rare glimpse behind the scenes of a business where no detail is overlooked."

James Rogan, Co-CEO of Rogan Scotland, said: "It's been such a privilege for Rogan Scotland to be invited into Cromlix at this pivotal time. What fascinated us was not simply the scale of the transformation, but how personal every decision became."
