The Celebrity Traitors returned to BBC One tonight with a murder in plain sight, but Love Island host Maya Jama could be at risk of exposure after a body language expert identified a 'tell' in her behaviour at the round table.
Body language expert Sean Johns described Jama's conduct during round table discussions, noting a distinct stillness that sets her apart from her usual animated self.
Expert Identifies Jama's 'Tell'
Sean Johns said: "Eyes fixed, nothing else moving. It happens most when the talk is in a group: she goes still as if she doesn't want to draw attention to herself, her hands stop or disappear below the table, and the gestures that are everywhere else in her just drain away. It isn't boredom."
He added: "Stillness like that is concentration: the body switching off its small movements so nothing leaks while the mind listens hard."
Murder in Plain Sight
In the previous episode, Jama and James Acaster were tasked with eliminating a Faithful in plain sight. The pair repeatedly fake-yawned around Ross Kemp and Jerry Hall to encourage them to follow, potentially sealing their fate.
Tonight's breakfast will reveal whether their plan succeeded. Jama has so far been described as an under-the-radar player, but this 'tell' could give her away at any moment.
