ITV has confirmed that Loose Women will not be broadcast today after power cuts affected the show's filming studio in Covent Garden.
The weekday lunchtime programme was due to air on ITV1 and ITVX from 12.30pm, with the regular panellists scheduled to discuss current affairs and showbiz news. However, the broadcaster has said it is "unable to broadcast" the show.
Power cut disrupts ITV daytime schedule
A statement issued on the show's official Instagram page read: "Following a power cut overnight in the wider area where our Covent Garden studio is based, we are unable to broadcast Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women live today. We will return to our normal schedule as soon as possible."
The disruption also affects Lorraine and This Morning, which are produced from the same studio complex.
Return to normal schedule expected
ITV has not provided a specific timeline for when regular programming will resume, but has indicated that it will return to its normal schedule as soon as possible.
