"I mean, it was crazy," Sunday recounted. "I have a text to my manager where I pretty much said almost a year to the day of my audition, 'I want to shadow Jason Bateman.' And then I got to work opposite him. It's insane, I manifested the heck out of that."
This manifestation turned into a reality when she landed the role, allowing her to work closely with Bateman, who plays weatherman Clark in the series. Sunday expressed immense satisfaction with the experience, countering the common adage about meeting one's idols. "You know how they say 'don't meet your idols', I'm very happy that I got to meet him and work with him," she said. "He was such a delightful surprise and just to observe and to get to work closely with him as an actor was such a learning experience."
