Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour 2027: Janette Manrara Returns as Host
Janette Manrara Returns to Host Strictly Live Tour 2027

The Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour is officially returning in 2027, and Janette Manrara will once again take on hosting duties for the annual arena event. The BBC programme confirmed the news on Instagram, posting a photograph of Manrara alongside judges Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke.

Tour Dates and Judging Panel Confirmed

The tour is set to visit arenas across the UK in January and February 2027. Revel Horwood, Ballas and Du Beke will reunite on the judging panel, while Manrara returns as host to keep the energy high throughout the evening.

The official Strictly account captioned the post: "The Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour is back for 2027! Coming to arenas across the UK in January and February 2027, prepare for an evening packed with all the glitz, glamour and feel good fun that you love about Strictly!"

Fans React to Manrara's Return

Fans were quick to express their delight at the news, with many commenting on the announcement. One follower said: "Janette would have been a brilliant SCD host." Another wrote: "Fantastic, Janette is back." Others added: "Welcome back, Janette" and "Oh, lovely that Janette is back as host. I really do not mind Ellie (Taylor), but I so miss Janette."

Manrara was a fixture on Strictly Come Dancing for nearly 14 years before departing this year. She originally joined as a professional dancer before moving to present the companion series It Takes Two, which she fronted for five years.

Manrara's Recent Career Moves

Despite auditioning to become one of the principal presenters on the main show after Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly's departure, the role was given to Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe instead. Manrara, who is married to pro dancer Aljaž Škorjanec, spoke about missing out on the position on This Morning, saying: "It was tough because Strictly was such a huge part of my life, I was there for almost 14 years."

She added: "Aljaz is still in the show, so I just hoped that it would go in that way for me. But, it didn't, and that's ok because I think life finds a way of still giving you that magic that is needed for you. I really wanted to act. I had been working on my acting skills for the last couple of years, actually."

Manrara, 42, has recently stepped onto the stage, starring in Affluenza alongside Noah Schnapp. Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday on BBC One at 6:30pm.
