The Royal Nawaab restaurant inside the Stockport Pyramid will launch Hukum, a private dining experience, with menus priced between £200 and £350 per person and exclusive spaces including a heated outdoor terrace and shisha lounge. The launch events run for two weeks from 23 November.
Private spaces and amenities
Guests will use their own private entrance, with more than 30 private parking spaces available on site. Hukum will feature an elegant lounge with booth seating, a dedicated dining area for up to 26 guests, a stylish bar and a DJ booth. Outside, the private areas include a heated terrace, an outdoor shisha lounge and a live BBQ station.
Marketing Director Bilal Jogi said: “Hukum is built around a simple idea: when you hire the space, it is entirely yours. Your guests, your atmosphere, your food and your occasion, without the interruptions or exposure that can come with a conventional restaurant or event venue.”
Signature menus
Hukum will offer three signature dining collections, priced at £200, £300 and £350 per person. These are designed as five and six course menus, with Indian and Pakistani influences, international flavours and bespoke cuisine tailored to individual preferences, event themes and requirements.
‘The Culinaire’ menu, at £200 per person, features five courses including Special Chicken Tikka Tower, Tandoori Scallops with mango salsa, Coconut Shrimp with sweet chilli sauce, and Supreme Tandoori Roast Chicken with Bombay mashed potatoes. ‘The Gastronomy’ menu, at £300 per person, offers a six-course journey with Grilled Smoked Paneer Tikka, Roasted Fillet of Hake, Tandoori Chicken Roulade and Slow-Cooked Lamb Shank. ‘The Table of Gold’, at £350 per person, includes Smoked Salmon Rosette with black caviar, Pan-Seared Cod and Scallops, Modern Beef Wellington, Tandoori-Marinated Lamb Chop and Mango and Cardamom Crème Brûlée.
Flagship concept
The Royal Nawaab opened in the Stockport Pyramid in April 2025 after a £15 million renovation of the former Co-operative Bank headquarters. The venue spans three primary dining and banqueting floors, accommodating upwards of 1,500 diners. Hukum is the flagship of Royal Nawaab's plans to develop a private hospitality concept, with ambitions to expand into major cities internationally.
