Fletchers' Family Farm, owned by former Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher and his wife Liz, operates as a private working farm, so it does not welcome visitors for everyday tours. However, fans can book an overnight stay in the on-site holiday cottage, Stag Cottage, and the family occasionally organises special ticketed public events.
The Farm Behind the TV Star
Kelvin Fletcher spent 20 years playing farmer Andy Sugden in ITV's Emmerdale, despite having minimal knowledge of rural life. Growing up in Oldham, Manchester, farming remained a distant concept until he won Strictly Come Dancing in 2019.
After that victory, he and Liz reassessed their priorities, and two years later they purchased a farm in Wincle, near Macclesfield, bordering the Peak District National Park. Now, away from television life, they and their four children dedicate their time to caring for the land and their livestock.
How Fans Can Visit
Although the farm is private, the family occasionally organises special ticketed public gatherings during lambing season, Easter, or for farmers' markets. Supporters are advised to monitor the Fletchers' Family Farm Facebook page, which receives regular updates about forthcoming events.
More notably, guests can reserve accommodation on the farm. Stag Cottage, an exquisitely renovated dwelling on the Fletchers' land, accommodates up to six visitors and features three bedrooms, a cosy fireplace, and a private garden with a hot tub.
