Tom Cullen is starring in ITV's new five-part thriller, The Party, taking on the role of Ben Fitzmaurice. The Welsh actor, known for appearances in House of the Dragon and Downton Abbey, is not the only famous face in his household, as his partner is also a recognisable actress.

Who is Tom Cullen's partner?

Alison Sudol is a singer and actress best known for her role in the Harry Potter prequel series, Fantastic Beasts. She plays Queenie Goldstein in the film franchise, which is set within the same Wizarding World as Harry Potter.

Although the couple have yet to share the screen together in any TV show or film, Tom wrote and directed a music video for Alison's 2023 single, Come on Baby, reports the Express.

Both living together in Wales with their two children, they have shared snippets into their family lives on social media. In 2025, Tom explained it was 'tough' to spend long periods away from his family, praising Alison as being a 'super mumma'.

He shared a sweet image of her with a glimpse of their child as he told followers Alison was 'holding down the fort' before stating he was a 'lucky man'.

What is The Party about?

On Sunday (October 11), ITV viewers can see Tom in the first episode of the five-part series, which follows two very different friends and their lives three decades later at a party.

However, things take a sudden turn as a crime takes place along the way. The series will move between the shocking events that happened and the police investigation that follows. Viewers will also see flashbacks of Ben's time at school with Martin (Luke Evans) and their party days.

Speaking about the show, Tom spoke about his character and how much he enjoyed playing him. He commented: "He's an aristocrat born into wealth, and so he's incredibly privileged, and he carries that around with him. But there's also something really interesting about him in that he's also trapped by this privilege and this secret pull that's within him.

"The show really is about what happens when someone isn't allowed to be their true self, and I feel like that with Ben. He has this exterior world and this interior world that are constantly at odds with one another.

"On the outside, you see this entitled aristocrat, but inside he's actually this quite vulnerable guy who just hates the world he's been born into. I found that contradiction really fun to play."

The Party airs Sunday October 11 on ITV at 9pm.
