I'm A Celebrity 2026 start date, line-up and what to expect

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here 2026 will return on Monday, November 16, at 9pm on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player, with Wayne Rooney reportedly among the campmates heading to the Australian jungle.

Presented by Ant and Dec, the ITV series has been on air since 2002. Last year's winner was Manchester streamer Angry Ginge, real name Morgan Burtwistle, who beat Celebs Go Dating's Tom Read Wilson and former EastEnders actress Shona McGarty in the final.

Why the start date changed

The planned original start date of Sunday, November 15, was pushed back due to ITV's coverage of the UEFA Nations League. England are due to play Spain in Madrid with an 8.45pm kick-off, which would clash with the show's primetime slot.

With this being England's final game of the year, football is not expected to further disrupt the schedule. Last year's final was held on December 7, 2025, so this year's final will likely air on Sunday, December 6.

Reported line-up

While no contestant has been officially confirmed, The Sun reports that Wayne Rooney will be joined by former Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney, Gavin and Stacey favourite Joanna Page and Paralympian Ade Adepitan.

Also reported to be in the line-up are YouTuber Sharky, Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson, Big Brother presenter AJ Odudu, broadcaster Mariella Frostrup, comedian Leigh Francis, stand-up Jack Skipper, Victoria's Secret model Leomie Anderson and Love Island star Chloe Burrows.

Spin-off returns

The spin-off series I'm A Celebrity... Unpacked also returns this year, airing live on ITV2 and ITVX. It will be presented by former King of the Jungle Sam Thompson and Kemi Rodgers, offering glimpses of moments not seen during the main show.
