I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! is set to return to ITV on Monday, 16 November 2026, and the rumoured full cast for the series has been 'unveiled'. According to reports, former footballer Wayne Rooney and Big Brother presenter AJ Odudu are among the 12 names expected to join the show this year.
Reported 2026 line-up
The Sun claims the reported line-up includes model Leomie Anderson, actress Claire Sweeney, comedian Leigh Francis, Love Island's Chloe Burrows, Kaiser Chiefs singer Ricky Wilson and Gavin and Stacey actress Joanna Page. Presenter Ade Adepitan, YouTuber Sharky, journalist Mariella Frostrop and comedian Jack Skipper complete the reported roster.
Despite the claims, programme bosses maintain the line-up is "just speculation" and that official confirmation regarding this year's campmates will arrive nearer to the show's launch.
Fans react to the rumoured cast
As the line-up rumours spread across X, numerous fans made the same observation – that producers had 'blown the budget' on Rooney, 41, as they were 'unfamiliar' with most of the other stars. One wrote: "Just say it, they blew the budget on Rooney." Another added: "So in other words they've spent the full budget on Wayne Rooney and had to skimp out on the rest." A third chimed in: "Couldn't name a single person other than Rooney."
Despite such comments, AJ Odudu, Claire Sweeney, Leigh Francis, Ricky Wilson and Joanna Page are all recognisable personalities who have operated in the entertainment industry for years and have appeared on some of Britain's top TV shows.
History and accessibility changes
Numerous supporters revealed they were backing Rooney to secure the crown following his wife Coleen's narrow defeat in 2024, when she came second to McFly's Danny Jones. This year, Ade Adepitan will make history as the first campmate to use a wheelchair. Producers have modified the jungle design and camp pathways to guarantee accessibility while preserving the fundamental rustic setting.
Following gaming YouTuber Angry Ginge's victory in 2025, producers have brought in Beta Squad creator Sharky and stand-up comedian Jack Skipper to sustain appeal with digitally-native audiences. The opening 12-strong roster leaves room for the programme's customary mid-series shock entries, with rumours already connecting names including retired cricketer Ben Stokes and Mis-Teeq singer Su-Elise Nash. I'm A Celebrity will begin on Monday 16th November at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
